Home appraisals in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County

Broward County packs very different markets close together: canal homes in Fort Lauderdale, high-rise condos on the beach, 55-and-over communities and large suburban homes out west in Weston and Parkland. Two homes a mile apart can call for completely different comparable sales.

Questions

Do you appraise homes everywhere in Broward County?

Yes. I cover all of Broward County, including Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Pembroke Pines and the rural areas in between.

How much does an appraisal cost?

It depends on the property type, size, location and why you need it. Call or send the address and I will quote the fee before anything is scheduled.

How long does an appraisal take?

The visit usually takes under an hour. The finished report typically follows within a few business days, depending on the property and the time of year. Ask when you call and I will give you a date.

Can I use this appraisal for my mortgage?

Mortgage appraisals are ordered by your lender, usually through an appraisal management company. If you are refinancing or buying, ask your lender. For PMI removal, check with your lender first, since many have their own process.
